Jacqueline "Jackie" Lynn Teal

Jacqueline “Jackie” Lynn Teal, 69, of Nelsonville, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born on June 16, 1956, the daughter of the late Clarabelle (Campbell) Edwards and Jack L. Edwards. She was married to Gerry Teal who survives.

Jackie was a loving wife, mom, grandma, sister, great grandma, aunt, and friend. She loved her family more than anything. She had a big heart. She worked for Hartman Home, Easter Seals and was self-employed for a combination of over 32 years. She loved her job and impacted so many lives. She lived a simple life, but it was full. She enjoyed gardening and going for Sunday drives with her husband. She cherished every moment with her grandkids watching them grow up.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Gerry; daughters, Jenny (Rob) Eberts, Missy (Erett) Degarmore, Carrie (Bob) Jones; son, Nathan (Amber) Robinette; grandchildren, Jalynn, Casey (Chanda), Melissa, Katie, and Kimmie; great grandchildren, Bradley, Cooper, and Emma; sisters, Connie Sheets, Sandy Campbell, and Betty Dowler; niece, Brieana; nephew, Seth; cousin, Jane Teal; special family, Jason Cassidy; and several nieces and nephews.

Jackie was preceded in death by her mother, Clarabelle; father, Jack; sisters, Christy Sheets and Darla Coakley; brother, Marvin Edwards; mother-in-law, Electa Mae Teal; son, Jerry lee Teal; and cousin, Donald Teal.

Private family services will be held. Interment will be in Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield. Arrangements are with the Souers Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville.
