James Robert Pastol

James R. Pastol, 76, of Glouster, passed away Monday August 5, 2019 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in The Plains.  He was born January 11, 1943 in Elyria, Ohio son of the late Vincenzo “Jimmy” and Betty Ivers Pastol.

He was retired maintenance at Burr Oak Lodge in Glouster, and he worked various construction jobs in his lifetime.

James is survived by his son, Timothy Pastol of Athens; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers, Sam (Carol) Pastol, Jack (Sherry) Pastol and Tim Pastol; sister, Sandra (Dick) Lowe; several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Jerry Pastol and grandson, Sonny Pastol.

It was James wish to be cremated, and no services will be observed at this time.  Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main St., Glouster.
