Jerry Kesterson

Jerry Kesterson, 62, of Nelsonville, passed away Monday, March 23, 2026, at his residence. He was born March 31, 1963, in Lancaster, Ohio, to the late Leonard Kesterson and Birdie Stufflebeam Kesterson.

Jerry was the life of the party and a jack of all trades but most of all he was a family man. He was a very caring person. Jerry loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Jerry leaves behind his daughters, Amy Beth (Jeffrey Baker) Kesterson and Celicia (Nathan) Denney both of Lancaster; three grandchildren which he adored, Nathan Jr, Ethan, and Kita Denney; three brothers, Ronald, Randy, and a twin Terry; a sister, Lola; his best friend, Huck his cat; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Rex, Eddie, Victor, and Tony; and sisters, Debbie and Connie.

Jerry’s wishes were for cremation and no services will be held at this time. Arrangements are with Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville.
