Juanita Faye Largent

Juanita Faye Largent, 84, of Chillicothe, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026, at her residence. She was born March 28, 1942, in Lawrence County, Ohio, daughter of the late Isaac Franklin “Ike” and Goldie Marie Brumfield Young. Juanita was the widow of the late James Keith “Bill” Largent.

She was a retired teacher and principal from Vinton County and Paint Valley School districts and was a member of the SERENO Chapter #128 OES in McArthur.

Juanita is survived by her son, Brent Michael Largent of Chillicothe; granddaughter, Whitney Lyn (Charles) Clark of Chillicothe and great-grandchildren, Chloe, Ryleigh, Grayson and Aiden.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Bryan Keith Largent and siblings, Charles Henry Younga and Burke Young.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Juanita Largent to your local humane society or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
