Kymberly “Buckeye” Moina Lutz, 62, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at her residence. She was born March 12, 1963, in Trenton, Michigan, daughter of James Allen Ross of Cheboygan, Michigan and the late Clara Jeanne Pitts Ross.
As a devoted Ohio State Buckeye fan, Kymberly’s love of sports ran deep, whether cheering on Ohio State or catching any game that happened to be on. Her friends and family gave her the nickname “Buckeye.” Her soundtrack was filled with the Grateful Dead and David Bowie, artists whose spirit matched her own: vibrant and unapologetically authentic. She lived life entirely on her own terms, never afraid to be herself and always ready to lend a hand or her whole heart to anyone who needed it.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her daughters, Moina (Sean) Crow of Newark and April (Tyler) Herron of Circleville; grandchildren, Shelby Moina Hipp, Abby Hupp, Carter Adams and Xander Herron; brother, Col. Jeff Ross of Hooper, Nebraska; her dog, Little Man and a special friend, Jim Perry.
No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
