Larry George Aurand

Larry George Aurand, 89, of Logan, passed away at his home on Friday, July 10, 2026. He was born on July 29, 1936, in Hocking County, the son of the late Frank E. “Ernie” and Alta Jane (Conrad) Aurand. George was married to the late Dorothy “Pat” (Johnson) Aurand.

George served in the US Army. He retired from GE in Logan and he was a member of the Logan Church of the Nazarene.

George is survived by his daughters, Tami (Dale) Markin of Logan, Amy (Joseph) Little of Logan, and Laura Aurand; son, David Aurand of Logan; many grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

George was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pat; son, Randall Aurand; daughter, Susan Aurand; second wife, Janice Aurand; and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St, Logan, with Rev. Thomas Gates II officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, with military honors by the Hocking County Honor Guard. Family and friends may visit from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
