Lawrence "Larry" R. Messenger

Lawrence “Larry” R. Messenger, 62, of New Plymouth, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at his residence. He was born May 12, 1963, in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Jack Lawrence Messenger and Helen Brockman Messenger Bagant.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Shasta (Jonthan) Waugh of Jackson; grandchildren, Madison and Jackson Waugh; former companion and mother of his daughter, Carol Hickman and special friends, David Dunnington, Danny Cook, Brenda Carter, Judy Savely and Shanda Savely.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William “Bubby” Skinner.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
