Lloyd Robert “Monk” Wallace Jr., 77, of Logan, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. Llyod was born on November 25, 1948, in Lorain, the son of the late Lloyd R. and Mildred B. (Crisp) Wallace Sr. Lloyd was married for 32 years to Dee Riley who survives.
Lloyd retired from General Electric and also worked at the Walmart lawn and garden department. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and a great cook, baker, and grill master. He loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Dee; son, Antoine (Penny Sheets) Wallace of Logan; daughters, Shawnna Pace of North Carolina, Heather Wallace of Lancaster, Sagan Wallace of Cincinnati, Anaisa (Troy Wimbs) Wallace of Nelsonville, and Alicia Cassells of Lancaster; grandchildren, Donovan, Claressa, James, Lilyah, Cambree, Taya, Natasha, Quest, Sol, and Malcolm; great grandchildren; brothers, Vernon (Denise) Wallace of Lorain, Kent (Pat) Wallace of Columbus, Phillip (Sue) Wallace of Michigan, and Kyle (Patricia) Wallace of Arizona; sisters, Rachel Wallace of New York and Faye Wallace of Loraine; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kevin and Sean; sister, Delores; and grandson, Mykael.
A celebration of Lloyd’s life will be held at 10 am on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St, Logan. Family and friends may visit from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
