Lois "Sis" Clowes Lupher

Lois “Sis” Clowes Lupher, 67, of Buchtel, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Sis was born on September 19, 1958, in Columbus, the daughter of the late Walter Kenny and Della Louise (Snyder) Clowes.

Sis is survived by her children, Stacy Simmons and Jack Simmons; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sisters, Debbie (Mike) White of Buchtel and Jeri (Max) Moran of Frazeysburg; brothers, J.D. (Lacey) Clowes of New Plymouth and Matthew Clowes of Athens; and the love of her life, Dick Simmons of Everett, Washington; and several nieces and nephews.

Sis was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Tom Clowes.

A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date. Arrangements are with the Souers Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville.
