Marilyn Ann Pittman

Marilyn Ann Pittman, 79, of Logan, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. Marilyn was born on July 19, 1945, in Hocking County, the daughter of the late Desmer and Sylvia Imogene (Norris) Bownes. She was the widow of the late Merl E. Pittman.

Marilyn is survived by her sons, Stony (Vicki) Joy of Logan, Grinner (Charlotte) Joy of Logan, and Randy (Penny) Joy of Ashville; daughters, Crystal Mobley of Logan and Candy (Ken) Mason of Clayton, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Brenda Bownes.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Greg Joy; brothers, Robert and Rocky Bownes; and son-in-law, Harold Mobley.

Private funeral services were held at Hilltop View Cemetery, Logan. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are through the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St, Logan.
