Michael Bryan Myers

Michael Bryan Myers, 57, of Rockbridge went to be with Jesus peacefully on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, while at home after a long battle with cancer.  He was born February 6, 1965, in Nelsonville, Ohio and is the son of Linda (Don) Brown and the late Rudy Myers.  Mike was married for 34 years, to his loving wife Marsha Taulbee Myers, who survives.

Mike is also survived by three children, Bryan (Ashley) Myers of Huntington, Indiana, Ambir (Anthony) Walsh of Pickerington, and Bo Myers of the home and one brother, Keith (Jenifer) Myers of Logan.  Mike was “Poppy” to one grandson, Jensen Myers who has brought so much joy to Mike through all of this, and several nieces and nephews.  In addition, Mike's sister-in-law and brother-in-laws Lou and Jill Taulbee, Brad Taulbee, Dan and Paula Brandon and mother-in-law Ramona Taulbee.  Family was most important to Mike and his life will live on through them.

Mike was an employee of the Logan-Hocking Schools family where he has worked recently in the MH Unit at the high school.  He dearly loved working with these young people and the role he played in their lives.  Mike was a 1983 graduate of Logan High School where he played a variety of sports but most of all he enjoyed every moment he spent watching his children and coaching their activities as well as an avid supporter of Logan Chieftain Basketball.  A member of the Shepherd of the Valley Church of United Brethren In Christ, Mike was at complete peace with God’s plan for his life and a testimony to others.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2022, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor Doug Stull officiating.  Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
