Paul Roger Malone

Paul Roger Malone, 83, of Hamden, passed away Friday, October 16, 2026, at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis. He was born April 14, 1943, in Vinton County, Ohio, son of the late Clarence and Garnett Sizemore Malone. Paul was married to the late Connie Grace Cook Malone.

Paul retired from Austin Powder Company after 44 years and was a member of the McArthur Free Will Baptist Church in McArthur. He was a good Christian man and was loved by many.

He is survived by his daughter, Paula (Wayne) Workman; grandchildren, Johnathin L. (Shaina) Taylor, Heidi L. Taylor and Wayne L. Workman II; great grandchild, Grayson J. Taylor; brothers, Leroy (Louella) Malone, Ansel Malone and Donald Malone; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Paul was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Roger Malone; brothers, Bill Malone, Gene Malone, Ronnie Malone and Clarence Malone Jr.; and sisters, Maggie Perkins, Shirley Mullins, Betty Brooks and Violet.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2026, in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Interment will be in Brush Ridge Cemetery, Vinton, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
