Ricky Dane Phillips

Ricky Dane Phillips, 68, of Pomeroy, formerly of Nelsonville, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington, WV. He was born December 13, 1955, in Nelsonville, the son of Harry and Norma (Hook) Phillips.

Ricky is survived by the love of his life, Debbie Nelson; nieces and nephews, Vicky (Daryl) Smith, Penny (Gary) Holliday, Christina (John) Jackson, Harold Lee Hamilton, Terra Stiers, and Greg Hitchings; and many great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Shelby Pierce and Cheryl Hamilton; and nephew, Michael Hitchings.

Visitation will be held 4-7 pm Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville. Interment will follow at a later date at Greenlawn Cemetery in Nelsonville.
