Rita A. Coakley

Rita A. Coakley, 61, of New Lexington, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.  She was born April 18, 1960, in Logan, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Mary Ann Williams Krannitz.

Rita was an assistant manager at McDonalds in Lancaster.

She is survived by her daughter, Marcia (Justin) Jones of Columbus; granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Gracie and brother, Keith O’Rourke of Logan.

In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her lifelong companion, Mark D. Mingus.

A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at New Fairview Memorial Gardens in Rockbridge, with Elder Virginia Mingus officiating.  No visitation will be held.

Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
