Roberta D. Fouty

Roberta D. Fouty, 78, of Glouster, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Kimes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Athens. She was born September 30, 1943, in Glouster, the daughter of the late Raymond and Lillian (Graham) Nott. Roberta was the widow of the late Donald E. Fouty.

Roberta worked for over 30 years with hapcap, where she held various positions including community service worker throughout the area and also as a family support worker for Head Start in Coolville and Athens

Roberta is survived by her daughter, Amber Dawn (Dustin) Teel of Glouster; grandchildren, Kiri Dawn Teel, Phoenix Matthew Teel, and Winter Rin Teel; brother, Issac “Ike” (Janie) Nott of Glouster; and brother-in-law, Gary Vaughan of Glouster.

In addition to her parents and husband, Roberta was preceded in death by her sisters, Irene Sinclair and Sandra Vaughan; and several brothers and sisters.

Burial will take place at a later date in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Arrangements are through the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
