Roger Lee DeLong, 75, of Logan, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Roger was born on November 1, 1947, in Logan, the son of the late Clarence and Beulah (Stevens) DeLong. Roger was married to Barbara (Pennington) DeLong, who survives.
Roger was a retired Electrician. He was co-owner of Bo's Radical Racers and an avid gun collector. Roger was a member of Calico Ridge Holiness Mission Church in Logan and the Ohio Gun Collectors Association.
In addition to his wife, Roger is survived by his son, Michael Joseph (Angela) DeLong of Logan; step sons, Michael Bowlby of Reynoldsburg and Kenneth (Jessica) Bowlby of Circleville; grandchildren, Peyton and Allison DeLong; step grandchildren, Tyler and Broc Bowlby; sister, Loretta Jane (Ted) Meyer of Huron, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Christopher and Kim Meyer, Matthew and Kelly Meyer, and Pamela and Joe Lee; and great nieces and great nephew, Mia Meyer, Lucie Myer, and William Meyer.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William DeLong.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, December 1, 2022, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor Steve Rinehart officiating. Entombment will be in New Fairview Mausoleum, Rockbridge. Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
