Russell David Patrick, 68, of New Plymouth, passed away Monday, June 15, 2026, at his residence. He was born June 6, 1958, in Logan, Ohio, son of Della D. Malone Patrick of New Plymouth and the late Russell Earl Patrick.

David was a retired truck driver and a member of the Army National Guard. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, generous spirit, and the kindness he showed to everyone he met. A man with a big heart, he was deeply devoted to his family and especially adored his nephews, as well as his great-nieces and great-nephews, who brought him immense pride and joy. He treasured the friendships he formed throughout his life and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His caring nature, loyalty, and ability to make others smile will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Vickie Steele of New Plymouth and Bobbi (Mike) Morgan of Lancaster; brothers, Richard Patrick of Columbus and Jeff (Eileen) Patrick of Gahanna; nephews, Scott (Jennifer) Morgan, Shawn Morgan, Aaron J. Steele and Patrick (Christina) Steele; great nephews, Joseph Morgan, Malachai Pelfrey and Cooper Steele and great nieces, Della Jane Steele and Sophia Steele.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 22, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. A private graveside service will be held in New Plymouth Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
