Ruth Ann Schnipke, 66, of Logan, passed away on Wednesday, August 28th, at Marietta Memorial Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Born on March 19th, 1958, in Trimble, she graduated from Trimble High School in 1976 and later settled in Logan, Ohio. A devoted member of the Methodist Church, Ruth Ann dedicated herself to being a full-time mother to her three daughters: Shiree, Larissa, and Karie. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her own children, as she welcomed their friends into her home, embracing them as family. Ruth Ann’s love was boundless and deeply heartfelt.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles F. Schnipke; daughters, Shiree D. Moore (Mike Loudner) of Glouster, Larissa D. (Scott) Manigieri of Virginia Beach, VA, and Karie L. (Alex) Murillo of Yorktown, VA; grandchildren, Demi D. (Blake) Tornes, Krislyn S. Moore, Geoffrey (Blaceton) Moore, Jaylynn M. Sellers, Gage C. Sellers, Dominic A. Murillo, Kendall H. Murillo, and Kayleigh A. Murillo; great grandchildren, Jett Virgil Tornes and Graysan Ann Tornes; sisters, Delores (Ed) Bethel, Sharon Boring, and Linda (Jim) Berry; and numerous extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alphonse T. Bonkowski; her mother, Ruth Ann Bonkowski; and her brother, Ted Bonkowski.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St, Logan, with Rev. John Williams officiating. Interment will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery, Logan. Family and friends may visit from 11 am to 1 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
