Sandra Kay Hamm Moore, 79, of Logan, passed into the arms of Jesus Friday, May 15, 2026, at Grant Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born February 16, 1947, in Newark, Ohio, daughter of the late Woodrow Jackson and Emmoline Louise Cooling Winegardner.
Sandy was a member of People’s Church and Antioch Alliance Church in Logan. She was looking forward to meeting her heavenly father. Sandy was the best mother and grandmother, her family were her greatest joy and priority in life. She had a gentle spirit and lived her life putting others first, sharing her faith and leading by example to inspire others in their journey, always welcoming with a smile and joy filled heart.
She is survived by her daughter, Shari (Scott) Donahue; sons James Allen (Charlene), Rick (Tabby Spence), and Roger; grandchildren: Teisha Nolen (Glen), Greg (Kari Anne) Payne, Joey (Johnine) La torre), Christopher Hamm, Nick La torre (Kristy) Michael La torre, Evan, Olivia ( EJ), Brody, Madeline (Levi), Alex and Zayden Hamm, Kaylie, Josh and River Barlow) and many great grandchildren; siblings, William Winegardner, Stephen (Shirley) Weston, Sharon Foster; nieces and nephews, and the special Hamm family who welcomed her with loving arms into their family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Lloyd Moore and James Hamm, who was the father of her children and love of her life.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 20, 2026, in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge, with Rev. Charles Fidler officiating.
Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Sandra Kay Hamm Moore to Fairhope Palliative and Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or a charity of your choice.
