Steven Wayne Holdren

Steven Wayne Holdren, 64, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. He was born May 14, 1962, in Hocking County, Ohio, son of the late John E. and Bonna Mae Tolliver Holdren.

He was a believer in the teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses and found great joy in spending time outdoors. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting for mushrooms and wild herbs, tending to his garden, and caring for his flowerbeds.

Steven is survived by his sisters, Patricia (Robert) Showalter of Logan and Beth Holdren of Lancaster; sister-in-law, Diana Holdren; nephews, Jeremiah Holdren, Matthew Holdren, Joseph Showalter, Robert Showalter and Nicholas Showalter; several great nieces and nephews and his aunts, Jane Seibert, Mary Ann (John) Cassells and Andrea Vernon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Timothy Holdren and John L. Holdren; niece, Caitlyn Holdren; aunt, Carol Smith and uncle, Chris Tolliver.

Steven’s wishes were to be cremated, and a graveside service will be held in Knollwood Cemetery in Logan, Ohio at a later date.
