Vera Mae Minton

Vera Mae Minton, 93, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Vera was born on March 26, 1932, in Roxabell, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ornie and Goldie (Shoemaker) Bethel. Vera was the widow of the late Delvin H. “Dutch” Minton.

Vera was a wonderful and loving mother, sister, and Mema.

Vera is survived by her children, Debbie Kelber of Spring Hill, Florida and Doug (Sharon) Minton of Canal Winchester; grandchildren, Mindy Kelber, Jeremy (Ale) Kelber, D.J. (Tabatha) Minton, and Brad (Jennifer) Minton; great grandchildren, Ariel, Cyrus, Emma, Achilles, Athena, and Julian; brother, Ron Bethel; and several nieces and nephews.

Vera was preceded in death by her parents, Ornie and Goldie; husband, Dutch; brothers, Charles “Bud” Bethel and Richard Bethel; and son-in-law, Bill Kelber.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the Garrett Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St, McArthur, with Pastor Danny Minton officiating. Interment will follow in Londonderry Cemetery, Londonderry. Family and friends may visit from 4 to 6 pm on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the funeral home.
