Wesley K. Brunk of Carbon Hill, Ohio, went home to Heaven on Saturday, December 6, 2025, after suffering a heart attack. He was born November 13, 1952, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Norman and Clara (Hartman) Brunk. He married Nancy L. Wray on April 12, 1975. He was a faithful member of the Hocking Hills Mennonite Church.
He retired from his overhead garage door business after 36 years of service. He was thankful that he could turn the business over to his two sons, Nelson and John, who are carrying on his legacy. He enjoyed dealing with customers and contractors and made many friends throughout the years. He loved God, his family, his church family and his friends unconditionally.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy Brunk; his children, Debra (late Christopher) Good, Nelson (Emily Heatwole) Brunk, Sarah (Stanley) Weaver, and John Wesley (Shirley Baer) Brunk; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all local. One brother, Nolan Brunk of Logan, OH; three sisters, Sharon (Bill) Renno of Danville, PA, Patricia (Titus) Miller of Seaboard, NC, and Elaine Brunk of Logan, OH; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, David, Wendall (twin), an infant brother, and son-in-law, Christopher Good.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Hocking Hills Mennonite Church, 14865 OH-595, Logan, OH 43138. Interment will be in Carbon Hill Cemetery, Carbon Hill. Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at the church.
