William G. Smith
August 23, 1941 — April 13, 2018
William G. Smith, 76, of McArthur, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. He was born August 23, 1941 in Columbus, son of the late John William and Amanda Doolin Smith.
William was a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his sons, Greg (Michelle) Smith of Westerville, Shawn Smith of Bucyrus and John Smith of Columbus; daughter, Christy (Brent) Miller of Urbana; thirteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother, Johnny Floyd Smith of McArthur and a sister, Virginia Short of Laurelville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Brian Smith; sisters, Jewel Cole and Betty Bradley and brothers, Henry and David Smith.
No services will be held. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
