William L. Wachenschwanz, 76, of Nelsonville, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Highland Oaks in McConnelsville. He was born November 11, 1947, in Athens, the son of the late William E. Wachenschwanz and Norma Jean (Warren) Hall.
William served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
William is survived by his daughter, Cristi (Kenny) Person of Nelsonville; brothers, Clarence R. (Carolyn) Warren of Nelsonville and Dave (Tina) Wachenschwanz of Nelsonville; sisters, Debra Wachenschwanz of Pickerington, Hope (Mark) Holbert, and Melissa (Ben) Theel of Chesapeake, VA; stepfather, Clyde Hall of Chesapeake, VA; special niece, Amanda (Trent) Jones of Reynoldsburg, along with several other nieces and nephews.
No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are by the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville.
