Woodrow Milford Bates

Woodrow Milford Bates, 63, of Londonderry, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023, in Coalton, Ohio. He was born May 8, 1959, in Vinton County, son of the late Woodrow Bates and Rosalie Lowry Roberts. Woodrow was married for 34 years to Deborah “Gerty” Whaley Bates, who survives.
He was a retired roofer.
In addition to his wife, Woodrow is survived by his stepson, Paul V. Remy Jr., of Chillicothe; step granddaughter, Payton Remy; step great grandson, RJ Ocasio and sisters, Diane Fouse, Gracie Maxwell, Irene (Kenny) Smith, Suze (Randy) Nichols, Jane Williams and Betty Ann (Roger) Remy.
No services will be held. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
